This display features fixtures by Flos from Italy and a vintage Dr. Sonderbar Chair by Philippe Starck (Our Price $1,750 compared to 1stDibs.com $3,211). One of the sconces and three of the table lamps are also designed by Philippe Starck.
The Light Lab features unique sources of light and displays showing color temperature and CRI. The cove light is a remote controlled LED tape that changes color. The floor lamp is a vintage Noguchi paper lantern. The table is vintage Kartell. The monopoints and recessed fixtures are from WAC. And the chandelier is by Jonathan Adler for Robert Abbey.
These traditional and transitional fixtures are made in Santa Barbara County by Hans Duus Blacksmith. He works in steel, so these fixtures are stronger and lighter than their iron counterparts.
The entrance is a display of LED bulbs vs incandescent bulbs on opposite sides.
The ceiling heights of each alcove varies from 10' to 9' to 8' in order to give you a point of reference when choosing a fixture.
